I Love You All!!!

I love you all. I have had so much fun with you. I miss our old times, but I am enjoying the new adventures I am having with my teaching and new ward. My new ward is slowly growing on me. The people are great, but if it wasn't for sports I wouldn't know anyone. I don't think I am the only one that can say that because I think even those who are not sports fans have got involved in the ward because of volleyball, frisbee, or basketball. I am a firm believer in sports.

This past two weeks has been amazing. I have truly been blessed. I have felt the love of our heavenly Father more than I ever have before. He really is doing everything he can to help us return to him. The plan of salvation was created for our sake so we could become like him. I wrote a poem that I do not mind sharing. It may not make a lot of sense, but I do not care. I use to always write poetry but it has been about 5 years since I last wrote. I thought I might get back in the habit. This one is a little rusty. I love you all.

God created everything spiritually before temporally
Every green pasture to every lily of the earth
He took time to create all of this through his love and his name
For every daughter to every son who comes to gain

Adam and Eve were sent to be the first to live on God’s earth
Living in God’s presence, but without the progression
They were given agency to eat of the forbidden fruit
Spiritual and physical death, but much potential

Eve was deceived but yet quite wise as she partook
Blindly understanding the consequence and pleasure
Adam stood beside her with their eyes both opened to the world
Behind a bush they hid in discomfort and in shame

The Lord said, “I will multiply thy sorrow and conception.”
And Eve bare unto Adam sons and daughters of God
Adam was commanded to eat bread by the sweat of his face
Adam had dominion over all beasts of the fields

God gave them commandments: worship and offer sacrifices
In the name of the son, Adam and Eve did obey
In this day Adam and Eve Blessed God and their eyes were opened
Their transgression brought their seed and joy of eternal life

I am their seed, a daughter of God, subject to sin and death
They gave me the opportunity to learn and grow
I to can repent and be forgiven of my sins through Christ
They prepared away for me to gain Salvation

The Amazing Dance

Thursday I danced an amazing dance of diving, running, and catching that revolved around a circular disc. I think there is still an uncommon amount of adrenaline running through my body. To put it simply, I got to play unltimate frizbee yesterday. I haven't played since I was in Utah and I'm pretty sure I am going through withdrawls. So here's the story. I was at institute on Tuesday. It was good. Afterwards a couple of people were planning a trip to Rockbridge park for thursday. The park is a place full of sinkholes and caves and rockbridges, imagine that. Anyways, they asked me if I wanted to go. I said maybe( gas, time, schedule) The guy said that when I said maybe I really meant no. But I really meant "maybe"! I wanted to go, but I had to see if the drive was worth it and whatnot. So, you all know me well enough to know that what he said sounded like a challenge. I went, and got all muddy and climbed in a cave and walked on a trail. All things I love to do. Well, while walking back to the parking lot one of the guys tries to hurry us along, we ask why, and he says frizbee. As I'm sure you can all picture, my ears perk up like a little dog, and when he invites any of us to go my hand follows. So I went and played frisbee for an hour and a half. It was pure joy. Today I was kind of in Lala land. My mind totally on other things. This is probably not the best thing. I ended up making the wrong change all day and going slower than usual. And the ditziest thing of all, making a pot of coffee with not coffee grounds( turns into hot water, amazingly). Then at lunch I thought of writing this. Anyways, all is well here. I love you all, and sorry I don't have pictures of my adventures.

ok so I am back in Provo now! It was so much fun to go home and see everyone and whatnot! So the "love of my life" His name is Mark and we dated in high school. I can almost guarntee that we would be married now if he was LDS but he isn't so we aren't... He just got home from Scotland where he has been living for the past year volunteering in a center for overcoming addictions. He is now back at home substitute teaching and coaching at our alma matter (haha! our crappy high school) so we saw each other and talked and hugged and went out to dinner and I remembered how amazing he is and I forgot how I had chosen not to see him for the two years before my mission because it would always make me sad that we couldn't be together...anyway all drama aside...we caught up on each other's lives and now we are in contact again and we will see what happens...maybe someday he will convert or I will be able to find someone like him to marry...but yeah that is the story of my life right now... them boys ain't nothin but trouble!

Oh man so I hope everyone is doing well. I am! Things here in provo are great. I am getting ready to go home for the weekend. One of my buddies from the mission is getting married so I figured why not go…but my plans have just gotten more complicated. The love of my life just got back home from Scotland. We haven’t seen each other for 4 years! That is a long time! It is going to be super weird! But hopefully it will be good. I am excited and will post pictures and write an update when I get back! Hopefully everyone is doing well. Jamie you need to come over when you get back! Love y’all!

This is a great picture of Brian at Old Faithful. This was the last thing we saw. We were not very excited.

This was an awesome waterfall we saw. If you look closely you can see a green strip. Brian said it was the remains of a leprechaun walking across the ferocious water.

Girls of Summer

So the title of this post is in relation to the song Boys of Summer....I just listened to it recently and I don't know....it just popped in my head. I highly suggest it...The Ataris sing it....so yeah things here in Provo are great! We are having a blast. However we are missing two of our favorite J's Jamie and Jackie! But we are managing to scrape by living. So tonight tiff and I were working on our untalent show act...we will hopefully post it tomorrow. It is freaking awesome...it is a rap...nuff said! But yeah Just a little forewarning so that you can get all excited about seeing our untalent...I am sure it will blow your minds!
